April 21, 2013 - Hey, it's not oaked up, that's a refreshing start. Light yellow color. Moderately fruit forward but no buttery mess to deal with. Pear, lemon peel, and a touch of fruit cocktail. Medium weight. Good value and surprisingly bright for a 6 year old cali chardonnay. This will probably last in the cellar.
March 9, 2010 - a nice wine for a nice price. will be a great BBQ wine.
January 30, 2010 - Great weight on the mouthfeel and for $15, it is a tremedous value.
July 4, 2009 - Light gold in color. Nose reminds me a little of the estate Talley: tropical fruit, baked apple, touch of spice. good acidity. apple, peach, ripe honey dew and spice. A solid QPR. Not quite as creamy or oaky as Cougar Juice, but good cannon fodder.
June 28, 2009 - The nose had apple, tropical fruit, and vanilla spice. The palate was crisp, with good acidity, and had apple, stone, tropical fruit, and a pleasant spice finish.
May 10, 2009 - Good, solid everyday drinker. Very floral and citrusy on the nose. Light bodied wine with a lot of lime and lemon coming through, maybe even a little peach. Great acidity that cleansed the palate. This is solid for 11 bucks.
April 21, 2009 - Much better than the Solex preceding this bottle. Enough acidity to make it interesting.
March 12, 2009 - Restrained unoaked chard - perfectly solid but nothing special. Good with food, I imagine.
February 7, 2009 - Gentle aromas and flavors. Not too oaky. Easy drinking.
January 20, 2009 - Spicy with hints of petrol on the palate and a bit of an oily feel on the finish. Not my cup of tea.
