October 8, 2020 - Really enjoyed this bottle from start to finish-- aged extremely well. Sad this was my last bottle. Deep, earthy dark berry nose, nice smooth juice not overly smothered in oak or spice. Deep and drinking great. Improving with age. Great drinking spot.

February 14, 2020 - Medium body and deep ruby color. Earth, minor tar, a little rhubarb and baking spice on the nose. Opens with cinnamon and baked apple. Nice long finish of dark choco and cherries jubilee. Quality wine that has held up.

September 15, 2019 - Out of a magnum. Unlike many other recent tasters, my bottle drank quite well. Really closed on opening, it began to shine after a couple of hours with subdued black currant, black raspberry, and tea flavors. I can’t speak for the 750s, but I’d have no problem holding another magnum (I wish!) for a few more years.

August 26, 2019 - The nose is a bit harsh with some trace of violets. Nice dark fruit, black cherries, pepper. It is starting to become unbalanced. The acidity is somewhat harsh and not in balance with the fruit and sweet tannins. Finishes long, but again a bit too acidic. Overall, palatable but that’s it. Drink soon. The acidity will become intolerable in the next year or so.

August 21, 2018 - Drinking well but showing some age. This was a magnum, would suggest drinking now, especially 750's

November 13, 2017 - Starting it's decline. While still very good, it's losing it's umpfh. All the components are still there, but overall, it seems sort of 'flat' and not as lively as it once was. In general, I am finding the Pepper Bridge cabs tend to be better in their youth.

February 8, 2017 - Seems to be more integrated. At 11, it's starting to show what a good cab can be

August 3, 2016 - Decanted for sediment. Definitely in it's prime drinking window. This is a very lovely cabernet from Washington with a more European profile. Lots of dark fruit (cassis, currant, black cherry), olive, licorice and some pencil lead. Great balance, good structure and length. Drink now-2023.

January 28, 2016 - Drinking incredibly well. The fruits and tannins are in a wonderful alignment. If you want to try this wine at it's optimal age, I would suggest within the next year.

Walla Walla Cab at it's finest!
