April 23, 2022 - Still some of that big jammy Shiraz red fruit. Acid and tannin are resolved but not the tertiary notes I would hope for. Yes, on the elegant side for a Shiraz. May have been better five years ago?

September 11, 2021 - A Few Wines Tasted at Lisa and Sheldon's Engagement Party (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Small glass, brief note. A big wine with lots of mature fruit, but it hasn't quite evolved into something nuanced or exciting to me.

June 16, 2021 - Don't have a detailed note, but I recall a glorious floral nose, and no shortage of flavor. Lacking a bit of structure at the back end though. This improved with air, but the finish always felt a little soft.

May 15, 2021 - Very pleasant, integrated and very delicate at this point, perhaps just starting to get a little thin. Subtle flavors of fruit and mint still seeping through. I have a few more of these but i feel sooner the better.

July 1, 2020 - Still going strong with mature fruit and nice spice secondaries, elegant and fairly long on the finish. Glad this held out well for so long it was obviously an excellent effort
