March 30, 2008 - WLTV Party; 3/29/2008-3/30/2008 (Springfield, NJ): Tasted at the WLTV after-party at Basilico's.
Nothing special. High acidity, lowish fruit. Low-med tannins. But when tasted with the pasta, the food filled in the "holes" in the wine, making it taste rounder and fuller and less tannic. -

June 14, 2006 - Caroline Wine Shop - Italy, Piedmont (Carolines Wine Shop): (Tasted Blind): Mid garnet in colour transitioning to an orange rim.
The bouquet offers liquorice, orange peel, dried roses, and some ripe damson plums. Clean and intense with a lighter perfume aroma.
A dry entry with firm, grippy tannins that become quite puckering. Medium-bodied with a vibrant acidity and a medium finish.
It matured in Slovenian oak.
