May 1, 2020 - The nose is somewhat closed, but has strawberry and alcoholic heat that suggests the acidity you get on the palate, which has tart cherries and and wet earth. Sharp and tannic without much fruit left at all. Almost the complete opposite of what I would have expected from a Mercurey Pinot.

January 24, 2020 - Lovely earthy nose with a hint of raspberry and strawberry. This bottle was fading on the palette with the fruit just poking through. Not sure if I would hold any longer.

February 25, 2019 - Initial nose of rose pedal
Laser acidity a tad sour on the palette
    Ruby red juicy fruit
Still has some harsh tannin decided to let it breathe

    After 1.5 hours
    Opened up to mineral
    Lighter bodied
    Concentrated masculine fruits
Elegant and intoxicatingly aromatic at the end

October 26, 2017 - nice fruit. bit disjointed - still on the young side. Needs several years in bottle. Try again around 2020

October 14, 2012 - Manque un peu de matière. Belle acidité et tanins légèrement asséchant a l'ouverture. Avec l'aération il se dévoile un peu cerise et graphite. A probablement besoin de temps.
