January 11, 2023 - Undrinkable, poured it out.

February 27, 2021 - Meh. A wine I enjoyed when it was young had a distinct vinegary smell and a shriveled taste lacking any depth or nuance. Could barely pucker through a single glass. Will try again after overnight sit. Ok day 2 this is substantially better. Bone dry.

March 29, 2020 - At the end of life. Fruit is starting to go.

November 20, 2019 - Very dark color. Nicely balanced, and finish was smooth. Plenty of tannin, but fruit was not very evident. Even so, went great with lamb.

May 29, 2019 - This complex red Bordeaux wine deserves aeration in a decanter for several hours before serving and is fit for a feast. Anything short is a mistake. Has a good balance of acid, fruit, tannin and alcohol, though can leave a slight hot sensation on the palate in the finish. Pairs well with walnuts, Humboldt Fog, and braised short ribs. There’s a lot of cellar life left on this vintage. HOLD
