January 7, 2022 - surprisingly ready to drink with the tannins largely resolved, this really shows the weakness of the vintage - not a big wine and I'm not sure it will improve but nice enough

November 30, 2020 - It needed an hour to open up but then there were beautiful notes of cedar, tobacco, soft tannins. Fruit very present from start with wonderful long finish. Ready for drinking now. Could also age for another 5 years and would be even softer.

June 12, 2020 - This kind of wine can be magic in a great vintage, unlike 2007...
Nevertheless, after an appropriate aeration of 4-5 hours, it comes to a good level of pleasure. Finally, this wine is a classic Pessac Léognan, with refined aromas of cherry and silky oak tanins. Does not worth the price whatsoever.

February 27, 2020 - Wine night @ wcc’s: Black berries, liquorice, truffle, smoked tobacco leaves, with a nice long warm finish. Sweet tannins. There is this opulence but not overbearing. This is in a good place now. One of the best Bordeaux 2007s I’ve tasted.
