November 6, 2021 - Consistent with my last note.
April 26, 2020 - Happy to report this bottle of mine was drinking very well, particularly on the first day. It seemed to be at a peek there, though on day two this was a touch more tired and slightly stewed. Blackberry, bramble, cassis, florals are the components showing in this -- a Bordeaux blend with a touch of Washington. I'm glad it's held up.
April 22, 2020 - PnP- Beautiful ruby red color into the glass; bright raspberry/ sweet tea on the nose; blackberry and figs on the palate, pleasant vanilla sensation on the finish. This is an enjoyable Bordeaux blend. While I am pleased to have a few bottles left to enjoy, I wonder what my impressions would have been had I opened one 5 years ago.
July 24, 2017 - Followed the Camille from the same vintage (2nd of 2 for both). Dense garnet color with light bricking, just like the other. Aromas of dark fruits, freshly tilled soil, root vegetables from the farm with dirt still on it like carrots and radishes, green pepper, celery, potpourri, dried orange peel, black tea, dried fennel, and graphite minerality. Fantastic nose. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark fruits, bitter orange peel, oak spices, and minerals. Solid juice. 89-90
February 7, 2016 - complex and delicious. still peaking but not for much longer.
It tastes like blackberry, red currant and black currant (cassis).
April 18, 2015 - Very enjoyable, good balance and density of flavor down to the last drop
March 30, 2015 - I love you.
February 7, 2015 - My first time with this wine, and I'm sure it was nice, fresh, and fruity previously, but I'm enjoying it in its clearly aged spot right now. Aromas of dried fruit, cedar, red flowers, and herbs. Medium+ body, acid, and finish, with flavors of dark red fruits, herbs, mineral, and oak spice. I'm getting a touch of the 14.9% alc. but it's not really detracting for me. Nice effort and went well with beef stew.
January 17, 2015 - Good wine. Same as previous notes.
December 12, 2014 - very nice place. no sign of fading
