December 9, 2023 - Decent wine, but not impressive. OK overall balance, but lacks complexity.

December 6, 2023 - At Blanco’s for Pearl Harbor Day Lunch. served with cheese. Not decanted. Decent nose and color but not overly aromatic. In the mouth it was adequate but without the warmth or spice I was hoping for.

September 29, 2020 - From my cold cellar, where it has been tucked away since release. Going very strong with the nose being intoxicating and seducing. 95 nose. Palate struggles to keep up, though is still outstanding, nicely resolved and full bodied and in good balance = 92 palate. Altogether a world class drinking experience and while at peak, there are no signs of downhill development. Should thus keep for a long time still

August 26, 2020 - Jammy ripe fruit. Still has perceptible tannins in the foreground at age 17. Brambly blackberries and licorice. A bit of heat on the finish.

September 6, 2019 - Very intense, but I found it a bit unusual for N. Rhone with those strong black fruit notes and overall expression somewhat reminiscent of the right bank Bordeaux, especially Saint Emilion...
