March 20, 2017 - Emirates lounge. Dark garnet with translucent rim. Pretty nose with nice wood spices and dark fruit. On the palate the vintage shows, well balanced but lacking fruit concentration hence tasting watered down. Fine but slightly drying tannins. Finish again lacking intensity. Pleasant enough Bordeaux for drinking now with a light meal. At least they did not try too hard and did not create one of those overextracted and woody right bank wrecks.
