November 8, 2019 - Opened and drank. No decanting.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like stoniness and toast. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

July 15, 2019 - Visually no signs of age. Nose of indistinct purple fruits and subtle green notes. Purple fruit (boysenberry), cedar and cigar on the palate overlaid with green herbs, which adds a savory foil to the sweet, ripe fruit. Nicely concentrated with fine tannins and a medium+ finish. Many years of life ahead.

June 8, 2019 - Garnet color. Nose of earthy damp cellar, cassis, red and black currant. Currant and plum on the palate complicated by leather, tobacco, and a hint of green. Concentration waned a bit after about an hour. Moderate acidity and still-firm tannins coexisting with feathery texture, leading to a moderately long finish of red and black currant fruit cut with earth and leather. Very nice, still evolving. From half bottle.

March 2, 2019 - Sociando delivers consistently. It is exactly that - super reliable. Derive much pleasure without paying a stiff price tag for it. While it might not hit the giddy heights, the bar is set consistently high.

Well resolved now, good and enjoyable classic Bdx.

    February 15, 2019 - Excellent.
Even still youthful and fleshy, can last 5-6 more years easily.
Great expression of Médoc. though not as racy as 1th-2nd growth.
