  October 22, 2022 - Intense dark cherries with leather and wet forest floor. Great intensity in the wine and lovely acidity. It still feels like a young wine despite starting to show more age in flavors.

  May 30, 2021 - Cherry, roses, and menthol on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, cassis, and notes of leather, rose petal, lemon peel, and savory herbs, with moderate tannins and good acidity. This is in its drinking window, and although it's unlikely to get better from here it should hold for several years. This was a very good to excellent value at about $50.

  September 17, 2017 - Decanted 2 hours. medium to full bodied, interesting nose, complex flavors. Can still go for a number of years. Bought this 10 years ago while staying at a villa on the property.

  January 2, 2016 - David T was spot on with this wine. Leather, rose petal, thyme, earth. I was a little worried on the PnP, but after 90 minutes in the decanter, the wine that was dead, blossomed into an expressive and beautifully balanced wine.
