October 26, 2009 - Still sitting on the plateau, but I won't press my luck much longer.

December 4, 2007 - This has always been a really nice Washington cab. It seems to have plateaud, but it should hold at this level for another 5 years or so. Balanced, complex, classic Washington cab characteristics (in a good way). A great wine from a vintage that I am not a big fan of.

August 28, 2005 - Excellent. Similar to my note from 2003, although I think this wine is now fully mature. There's no rush to drink it, but I don't think it's going to improve further.

June 9, 2005 - I'm on a bad run here. 3 out of the last 4 bottles I've opened have been off. Two were corked, and this one was just off. I normally love this wine, but this bottle was clearly flawed in some way. It was completely lacking it's usual structure, and it had a sweet/candied nose and flavor that was just not right. Oh well, the next two bottles made up for it...

December 28, 2003 - At Anna and Ron's house. Excellent wine, starting to open up a bit, but still firmly tannic and tight. Ripe, well-balanced. Should get even better. Still have ten bottles, but I wish I had even more. Great quality for the money.
