October 2, 2012 - Yummmm. Thanks to Alan and Plee for leaving this with us. Opened on our anniversary night a few days back. Just delicious. How does Kracher manage the intensity, viscosity and weight of his wines without them seeming overly cloying? This has a nice balancing acidity despite its rich texture. Tropical fruits (passionfruit) with some lime and honey - definitely some botrytis, here. Delicious. Bonnie has been savoring a glass each night for the past few days........

February 5, 2012 - Delicious as always with the Kracher sweet wines.
February 18, 2011 - Still botrytised, still slightly caramalized, with somewhat less intense, ripe fruit. Still cinnamon. At $32, still a fine bottle. I have to say that my note from a few years ago is more exuberent than this one, and so perhaps this wine was itself more exuberent then. Wait? Drink now? Save the higher numbers for later; drink this one now while it's still got most of that fruit.
January 8, 2011 - Honey color - full bodied, thick, chewy apricot, hints of grapefruit citrus, touch of pineapple and smoke.
June 4, 2010 - this just gets better,apple, sticky carmel, long elegantly sweet finish
