May 12, 2018 - Displays a very dark color, even considering the age (16 years when tasted). Viscosity is super high, noted by everyone at the table. Displays nicely botrytis nose and elements of honey and stewed fruits but the mouth was much drier than I was expecting (not a bad thing at all). Medium finish, not tampered with by any meaningful level of acidity which cost it a few points in my opinion. Tasted alongside Peller Cab Franc Icewine 2013 (so not exactly comparable) but most liked the Peller. I'd buy this again given the nuance of flavors, which are very nicely paired with fresh fruit.

December 10, 2017 - Wine Flock Intro Retro - Cabs (Jordan's): The nose here is all pineapples. Thick, rich and tasty on the palate with more pineapple and pineapple cream. Pretty simple, but tasty. Apparently this isn't technically wine given the alcohol is so low.

December 10, 2017 - Chicago Wine Flock..."Bordeaux and Cali Cab from Jordan" (Chez Whitehead - Northbrook IL): Tasted double blind. Rich and incredibly concentrated and unctuous, but I found it frankly simple and slightly one-dimensional, even while certainly tasty.

October 31, 2017 - Is this a wine? Colour is brownish, texture is dense, taste is sweet and deep with candied fruits galore, orangepeel, incredibly rich. Holds 4,5 pct, so I guess the answer is no, it's not a wine. But it's great stuff. #Palægade #Fogheads

November 13, 2016 - Double Blind 1990 Bordeaux with a Big Infusion of Show Stealing Old Napa (Jason and Tracy's, Mpls, MN): Drank a small pour from 375ml. 80% Scheurebe and 20% Welscherieslings. This is a handful, lovely nose of syrupy, apricots, pineapple, orange, burnt sugar, spiced apple. The palate is very dense, syrupy and candied, there seems to be acid, but this just goes over the top for me. A little will go a long way. 89+ to 90pts.

(Alois Kracher Noble Wine #12 Zwischen den Seen) Bright medium dark reddish orange color; focused and appealing orange marmalade nose; rich, concentrated, massive and deep, luscious apricot, baked peach, sweet lemon palate; long finish (needs several years)
