  November 14, 2021 - Is aging very well. Takes at least an hour to open. Medium tannins. Lots of raspberry fruit. Dry and clean. Medium finish. Great food wine. 😋

  June 20, 2013 - Dark in color for a Nebbiolo, with an attractive, though muted nose of ripe berries and earth. Full-bodied and silky in texture, this offers a luscious combination of ripe cherry and chocolate flavors, with a touch of mint on the long, polished finish. Shows excellent depth and focus to its delicious fruit. Drinks like a very good Barolo. At around $17, I wish I had bought more of this.

  June 30, 2011 - Decanted for 1h, served at 14°C. Followed the wine for another 2h. Initially lots of red berries, cranberry, cherries. Some smoke and funk. Almonds. Fine, ripe tannins, firm structure. Balanced, high acidity. With time, temperature and air: more blue fruit, licorice. Alcohol (14%) much more noticeable. Flowery notes of lavender and roses - nice. All in all an impressive wine at a really good price.
