This would be a nice, innocuous liquid to serve to people who were afraid of wine, but wanted something other than chilled water. They wouldn't even notice it. I give it an 'average' rating because it did not offend: just wasn't anything there.

    I usually don't post many public notes, but this wine just rubbed me the wrong way (a total vacuum of flavor), and I thought I might save someone a few bucks they could spend experimenting with something else.

    LOL, sounds kind of harsh, but honest!

    December 2, 2008 - I think the only thing keeping this from a 90+ is a slight lack of complexity. However, this is our type of Chardonnay - fresh, bright (in a good way) with great acidity, and crisp but with enough classic chardonnay flavor to keep it interesting. A hint of oak, which is perfect. We liked it a lot.

    September 26, 2008 - Pale lemon color, smells of bread and wet rocks and honeysuckle. Very well balanced chardonnay taste, although nothing remarkable stands out in the flavor profile. A food wine.
