  April 1, 2012 - Deep garnet color with a big, rough red fruit nose. Primarily black cherries with some sweet red cherry and red raspberry highlights, cedar and earth. Good balanced acidity with tannins still a bit rough, dry and dusty.

  May 26, 2009 - No decanting. Opened and poured. I've had this wine in tastings in the past and have been more impressed. Those were previous vintages however. This wine was lush and fruity, but offered little on the nose. The taste was mostly a flash in the pan - very little flavor lingered on the palate. Unfortunate, I was hoping for more out of this "Reserve" wine.
