October 22, 2016 - Magnificent! I have never been a true connoisseur of German rieslings, but this makes me want to aspire to be one. I'll definitely return to this kind of wine, aged like this!

September 2, 2016 - 3rd of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level, even better than my last note. Christophe was at top of his game in this vintage. VF+ (19).

August 15, 2015 - 2nd of 6, consistent note for this stunner yardstick Ruwer, pale, spritzy, viscous, light but oh so intense....and still so young, as ever fascinating to see how Christophe's wines develop v the neighbour, also v fine in this vintage!

May 10, 2015 - Pale intensity lemon-green color. Just a little hint of CO2 detected.

Developing, complex nose with a medium(+) aroma intensity. Aromas of lime, green pear, green apples, passionfruit, fresh grapes, honeysuckle, jasmine flower, saffron, petroleum and a steely minerality. Lovely nose! School book example of classic Mosel Riesling.

Medium-dry on the palate with a medium(+) acidity, medium body and a medium(+) flavor intensity. Flavors of lime juice, green pear, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, petroleum and steely minerals. The finish is long with loads of ripe tropical fruits and fresh pressed lime juice.

This is a wine of outstanding quality. It's so precise, elegant, balanced and damn delicious. Perfect to drink now with just perfect balance between maturity and youthfulness. Sure this could last for another 5-7 years but I can't see any point in sleeping on this.

September 17, 2013 - Bright yellow with green reflexes.
Looking good with hardly any visual aging.
Filigree and multi-layered aromas of Ripe, Yellow Fruits- as Apricot and Peach- traces of Forrest Strawberries.
Floral characters, Moss, Mint and Freshly-Cut Herbs. Little Butter.
    Delicate, very fine and sophisticated.
Decent Sweetness with Fruit Flavors of Apricot and other Stone Fruits.
Orange Zest and Soft Honey characteristics. Freshness.
Amazing Soft and Long Finish with Superfine Acidity and Mineral Notes.
Great finesse and Detail without lacking concentration!

A gracefully built, integrated and complex Auslese with detail and, thus, a perfect example of the greatness of “sweet” Riesling.
While fourteen years old, this wine comes with fine complexity, harmony and a lot of future potential. Amazing!
