Community Tasting Notes 10

July 5, 2015 - Gold color. Exotic fruit at the nose, honey and orange peel. Complex but not super abundant. Rich yellow fruit, medium body, sensual silky texture, notes of smoke, fresh acids and long buttery finish. Excellent wine, nice evolution.

December 18, 2011 - This is a special wine. On the sweet side but very good. Wish we had more. Xmas with the C's.

August 30, 2010 - Sweetish, but good with 1020 well spiced seafood fare.

August 13, 2010 - Golden orange with medium plus viscosity. Nose of musky stone fruit, candied lime peel, sweet nutty aromas (oxidative), blossoms and savory/smoky overtones. Mouth of sweet lacquer, apple/lime juice, honey, soft ripe apricots, sweet herbal notes; med. to med. plus acidity and body, nice sweet/tart finish with a hint of walnuts.

Acidity sparkles nicely with spicy sausage; sweet green earthiness comes out with greens/peaches/cheese/balsamic salad.

July 27, 2010 - gorgeous golden color, honey smell, sweet, rich and buttery, almost a dessert wine, worth buying some more
