  Very tight and closed first, it was even harsh and bitter in the finish... showing the style of cold and yet extracted vintages... Again Osmosis is likely here as the wine should be lighter and somewhat 12/12.5 alcohol on such a vintage... Parker and Roland fucked up Bordeaux for 20 years at least ... hopefully now it's back on track
  
  The wine needs air and even then does not show its best side... takes at least 2 hours to soften tannins and exudes some fruit, which BTW is still there. It's probably a good bottle with 2/3 hours of opening, then it fades away quickly... Day 2 = dead

  June 12, 2020 - Nez très expressif, fruits noirs, sous-bois, foin. En bouche, ampleur moyenne, bien fondu. Très agréable. A boire maintenant

  April 12, 2019 - My note from 2017 mentions tea, dark fruit, brush and leather. I noticed some Merlot smokiness and red fruits as well this go-round. This was rather pleasing and enjoyable over to 2-3 nights it was drunk. Very Good to Excellent.
