January 27, 2017 - An eclectic mix of nice wines with friends (Pine Lake Trout Club): Interesting wine. I don't think I have had it before. Purple in color. The nose has cherries, dark cherries, spice and some crushed leaves. On the palate, this seems full mature and drinking well. Some dark cherries, some dried cherries, some earthy forest floor. Light tannins. Nice balance. No idea on pricing, but this worked well with food and if not too crazy, this is a nice wine. Drink now, I don't think it gets better.
