December 3, 2023 - Why is this so brilliantly vibrantly fruity 16 years on? Impossible not to love this to death. A wine that goes on and on hours after you’ve finished it. Will last for years but it is so good now that I would drink the rest of the case without hesitation over the next few days. But I won’t because I want to enjoy it for as long as I can. Lovely and Tertre at its fresh best in a strange year.

February 21, 2023 - Totally muted with a bitter finish. Undrinkable. I guess this was an off bottle that may have been affected by TCA

August 22, 2022 - this is lovely - certainly ready to drink and quite delicious - should be good for a few years and may well improve

April 28, 2022 - Bordeaux Wimps (La Trompette, Chiswick): Opaque garnet core, narrow rim. . Nose is ripe, plum fruit, soil. Quite sweet. Medium/full bodied, soft tannins, ripe plums, nice fresh acids, good length finish. Very good.

March 25, 2022 - From Coravin by the glass list. Ripe nose of prunes, Christmas spices with some cooked fruit elements. Not oxidative but clearly pushed ripeness here. The wine benefits from the combination of ripeness/extraction as searched by the house and the naturally diluted 2007 vintage, so the result is quite all right. Still Tertre Roteboeuf has never been among my favorite Bordeaux due to its heavy hand.
