October 27, 2022 - This is ready now. great red fruit

March 30, 2018 - Elegant and restrained with notes of spices and red fruit, round and harmonious, lacking somewhat in depth and the fruit doesn't seem to hold up to the structure, but very nice finish and lingering taste. Could add more power and depth with a few more years, but I don't know. The one and only bottle, and didn't regret drinking it now.

December 22, 2015 - Drinking well, but I'm hopeful that some time will allow my last bottle to drink even better. Subtle, but elegant, not a lot of secondary characteristics showing on this yet.

August 23, 2015 - Beautiful wine, refined, balanced, and long. Drinking well now.

June 2, 2010 - Tasted at the domain with Jean Marc Millot. This is really in a nice place, not at all closed down. Really beautiful fruit and earth, finely balanced without a lot of obvious tannins. A lot more substance that the ’07. It has a lot of nice fruit but seems to have shed a lot of the baby fat. Can certainly be consumed now if that’s your thing but I’ll be leaving my few bottles in the cellar for a few more years. Interestingly, Jean Marc indicated that he likes to drink burgundies right at the point where the primary fruit balances with the emergence of the secondary characteristics… depending on how the vintage plays out, the 7-10 year point for this wine. In any case, a really nice wine from a modest and soulful vigneron.
