April 17, 2021 - I think we probably drank this at the last possible moment because there was the most subtle hint of oxidation. But, it was still a good drink. Ripe blackberry and just a hint black currant. It still retained a subtle zip of spice that you would hope for in Shiraz but had mellowed and integrated fully.

June 24, 2019 - Very tasty, nicely integrated fruit, acid, tannins, savoury stems. Great sipping after food too. Decent life left.

March 20, 2019 - Very good right now. Not full of bombastic fruit like you'd expect from an Aussie Shiraz, but rather more elegant, with savoury secondary flavours, but still enough fruit to poke its nose over the top, not like syrup, a floating aroma. Tannins are mild but present and long. Still some pepper about. Acid is medium to strong. This is elegant after food wine, or for sipping on its own. After 10 hours of air, though, the acid starts to dominate and it gets sour. Eva thought it was sour sooner than I did, mostly I just liked the tingle on my tongue, but I can see how some may not enjoy it as much.

January 5, 2018 - Decanted 1hr, no decernable sediment. Classic ripe, concentrated Aussie Shiraz, loads of blueberry, blackberry, hints of spice and a good dose of oak.
