June 18, 2023 - Drunk for dinner of beef fillet and roast aubergine. 14.7%. Rich deep garnet. Nose of blackcurrents and blackberries. Tannins still very much in evidence. A bit two dimensional, lacking complexity and evolution, even though it was rich and full. Has moderate length with the alcohol evident throughout. Overall felt heavy going after the first glass. Good potential on the nose but then increasingly disappointing and hard work. Out of balance for my palate. It is a fierce wine that needs a large chunk of meat to tame.

October 16, 2021 - So freaking good. Dark fruit on the palate. A lot of depth, fruit, balance. Drinking very well for a 2006 – can keep this a bit longer. Luckily, we have more!

May 26, 2018 - Have been holding a single bottle for a special occasion. Although I was expecting a "bigger" cab, it was unexpectedly soft and smooth over two nights ... maybe even lacking some flavor depth.
