November 8, 2019 - excellent aged le Macchiole, dried dark fruit, tar, graphite, red cherry, espresso, medium body, balanced acidic backbone, great long lingering finish. Drink now up to 3-5 years.

May 6, 2017 - Blackberry and flowers on the nose. Smoothe,fruity with soft tannins, perfumed and rich. Perfect timing to drink now.
July 7, 2014 - great nose with dark cherries as well as typical Cabernet notes and herbs. Decanted for 4 hours, tannins firm but smoothe. Earthy w leather, raspberries and cherry notes. Complex with good length.
September 7, 2013 - Lovely nose. Cherries, red fruit and good length. Shame I only had one bottle.
April 18, 2012 - P&P. Wine needs air. Developed well during the evening. Little bitter on the end. Enjoyed the wine. Drink it now since it is on its peak.
November 25, 2011 - Bitter.. Not sure what's wrong with this wine? Air improved the wine a little but not significant. Disappointed.
September 26, 2011 - Expressive floral, savoury and earthy nose. Dark sour cherry and raspberry fruits come with refreshing acidity. Pleasant and controlled hint of greenness from the cabernet.The tannins are well grained but maybe slightly drying on the finish. Length is good but what marks this wine is the impressive complexity of aroma and palate for the price point. Perhaps lacking the real depth and concentration of its siblings. Drinking well now and keep fro further 2-3
January 6, 2011 - Amazing wine! Unbelievable complexity. Changes continuously in the glass. Dark ruby. Dark berries, black cherries, earth, olives, coffee and hints of leather. So purely Tuscan, despite including international varieties in the blend. Speaks of the Bolgheri terroir. Mid-full bodied, nicely structured and balanced, with firm but fine-grained tannins, lively fruit and high acidity. Long finish. Great value. Now-2015.
