April 12, 2016 - Very solid wine. Refined core of dark fruits. Still has a reasonable tannic backbone to age for a number of years, but delicious now.
January 1, 2016 - Simply amazing, soft well rounded tannins, great fruit. went perfect with the Beef Wellington.
July 15, 2014 - Good soft fruit, well rounded with softer tannins. Totally enjoyed the wine.
May 9, 2014 - Drinking easy and smooth with a hint of sweetness. Maybe just a tad past its peak, but still a pleaser.
March 15, 2014 - pop and pour. Dark fruits and color. Still has soft tannins. Very enjoyable. Nose is stiil fragrant. grade is consistent with prior openings.
March 7, 2013 - Consistently outstanding. Generally, the 2005s in Napa are progressing well. Classic Cabernet but fruit is well integrated and doesn't slap you in the face.

February 23, 2013 - Decanting for about 30 minutes produced a balanced, fruity reward. Mild finish.
February 1, 2013 - This was really good -- very tannic but also had good fruit for a nice balance on nose and palate.
November 22, 2012 - A step below the 2005 Staglin and Bressler bottles, but excellent nevertheless. Always satisfying and better than the Ramey Napa 2005 which rounded out the 4 cabs tasted at Thanksgiving.
