August 17, 2021 - Medium golden colour. Weird, sour, leathery nose. More appealing on the palate: Apricot, ripe citrus, orange marmalade, light honey, and first signs of bottle age, with good acidity, an oily texture, and very good length of the lightly ethereal finish. Good body and concentration. Benefited from aeration. We did not have any cheese at hand, but I suspect that the wine would pair well with hard cheeses. Drink now.

February 17, 2019 - Small glass, brief note. while the 2007 was so much fun, this was reductive to start and still even slightly reductive a few hours later. Lots here, with good weight, but an odd wine that is tough to appreciate.

October 7, 2016 - GMs - Kevin Farewell @ GC: Sweet smelling - honey, apricot, orange ring, slate and smoke. The palate however feels much drier, with only the barest residual sugar that I can detect and some ripeness from the fruit contributing to the flavour profile. Well balanced acidity. A little bit more depth and this would be superb. Drinking well now.

    June 1, 2014 - Superlatives deserved.
Deep golden color that leads to the deep and developing complex nose. No petrol.
Depth of halbtroken body shows minerals, stone, exceptionally smooth subtle stone fruits and citrus hints.
Slow to open, overall it was an elegant WOW wine appreciated by all.
Served with bacon wrapped monkfish, ramps and forbidden rice.
    Made the dinner.

October 6, 2010 - The first whiff of this after opening is like angels falling down from heaven; pungent peach, lime and a touch of petrol. The palate is rich and full with a touch of residual sweetness, the mid is complex and evolving with a finish that goes on and on. Needs food. This might be one of my desert island wines. Or desert island Rieslings anyway!
