April 24, 2008 - Chianti Classico dnner. This was good, one of my favourites of the night. Deeply fruited nose at first, Red berries and some liquer, with hints of smoke and a strange almost petrol chemical accent I thought. Still, a very obviously Chianti Classico nose. Rather sweet on the palate, but nicely balanced and structured, with good acid and persistent tannins. Hint of mineral at the end as well.
