November 27, 2014 - It has aged fairly well, a little nutty and vanilla, rich with enough acid to keep it from being ponderous.

January 29, 2012 - Pleasant, clean, fresh... but almost totally devoid of character

February 26, 2011 - Very enjoyable...apple and melon taste up front with a nice oaky/buttery finish but not too overwhelming. Very much the way I like a CA chardonnay.

May 25, 2010 - Perfectly serviceable chard, but not really all that remarkable. Some decent fruit up front and I would guess 50% or less maloactic. Some oak there as well, but by no means overpowering. Good, but that's about it.

August 27, 2008 - Creamy and round but restrained oak lets its green apple flavors shine through.

August 16, 2008 - Worthwhile yet standard Cali Chard. Nose with nice balance of wood and butter, with a hint of lemon and other tropical notes. A notch down on the palate, with similar flavors but slight tartness which i didnt really go for. Paired MUCH better with grilled salmon than a Groth Sauv Blanc.

August 2, 2008 - No extensive notes, had a few glasses with dinner at a seafood restaurant. Seemed to pair well enough with my Chilean sea bass......but really a lackluster wine. Nothing distinctive, no real complexity.....some bland tropical fruit notes with a leesy taste and low acidity but overall unexciting. Certainly not worth $9.00 for a glass!

July 12, 2008 - golden color with creamy pears on the nose. typical buttery, oaky mouthfeel with some pear and yellow apple. perfectly acceptable, but lacks excitement or distinction.
