May 22, 2023 - Flavor component very puny, but drinkable. We've had to dump so many bottles of similar vintage Isosceles and Justifications that I was surprised that this bottle was not over the hill, too. At least the final bottle from our multi-year Justin Wine Club purchases was not a total loss.
December 10, 2018 - Still pretty decent but probably past it’s prime.
April 17, 2016 - 5 years since last tasted. Color starting to wash. Showed a hint of barnyard which faded. Beginning to show the age, gracefully, as the jammy fruit takes a step back from the spotlight.
January 31, 2016 - Decanted for two hours. Not an overly complex wine, was mild and went well with lamb with garlic and rosemary. Not much spice, soft fruit.
November 22, 2015 - Decent, but unbalanced notes of dark berries and red fruit, with hints of leather and spice following with mild tannins and medium finish.
September 7, 2015 - A little last its prime.
September 18, 2014 - Popped and poured; the last of four bottles. This one got lost in the cellar, or would have been consumed last year. Soft, smooth, and rich, a nice blend of black and blue fruit, but the hint of raisin on the medium-length finish tells me this is on the downhill slide. Still very tasty, though.
November 28, 2013 - Has the distinctive Paso Robles flavor that I recognize but find hard to describe - kind of earthy with strong aspects of leather, licorice, and spice.
November 24, 2013 - Red fruit, strawberry, cherry, and raspberry on the nose. Balanced acid and tannin. Good mouthfeel. Great California Cab!
November 3, 2013 - Still big and full of tannins. Black olive aroma as soon as the cork was pulled. After an hour this wine really opened up.
