September 20, 2020 - Last bottle was 2016. It is still dark ruby. Still plenty dark fruits, earth, beetroot. Tannins maybe softened a touch but still very grainy. Plenty length. Just never gives much away, very butch and not at all sensual. Looking for pleasure, look away. Might as well leave the remaining bottles for much longer and see what transpires. A drop left over was a bit smoother and finer the enxt day so maybe this will work wonders.

August 20, 2016 - Not very opened at the beginning, black fruit and mineralized. Long lasting aftertaste in my palate

March 29, 2013 - Still deep dark ruby. Some dark earth and beets. Dark fruits. Not giving much away really. Tannins still quite forceful. Impressive rather than hedonistic. Give it more time?

February 22, 2013 - Mid ruby fading to mahogany. Nose of woods and cherries. Definitely dark cherries and redcurrants. Sandalwood and cinnamon. Plenty acidity. Tannins slightly crunchy. Not as a enjoyable as a while ago. Maybe entering another phase? At least it wasn't corked this time!
