November 4, 2022 - Tasting Rendezvous with Rick, of Rick & Ilsa: Rick and I purchased this from the list at the steakhouse. In any given tasting, this could be WOTN, but not on this occasion. All Italy, all the way! And, given the substance, acid, and tannic structure, it could only be Aglianico. Indeed, the wine sports medium plus acid and medium plus tannin. Everything as it should be and for a very fair tariff. Going strong. This bottle had no less than a decade of evolution ahead. Delicious!

November 1, 2022 - Purchased at restaurant. It was my first time with this varietal (Aglianico). Last wine of the night and some palate fatigue and brain fuzz were creeping in. Dark fruits, very dry, tannins still easy to find, dirt and perhaps tobacco. Plenty of fruit still, and a good beef wine. Would order again. Not rated.

February 19, 2021 - Good+. On the backside of its curve, but still offering compelling freshness, with all the balance and elegance I've come to expect. Now or the next 5+ years. highly recommended+
