April 23, 2019 - Magnum. Lite platt initialt med en svag källarton. Bättre och bättre med luft. Mint, punschpraliner.

December 15, 2012 - Still good tasting, but definitely past peak. Bubble structure was
still there, and you could tell it was more of a traditional champagne in style, but was a bit weak.

March 4, 2012 - Super-fine bubbles. Aromas of toast, honey, hazelnuts, stone fruit and a little bit of mushroom and floral notes. Rich and full-bodied on the palate with a round and smooth mouthfeel. Good balancing acidity and a very long finish. Perhaps more on the powerful and rich side at the expense of elegance and finesse, but still balanced in its own way.

January 27, 2011 - Loved this wine - preferred to a 1999 La Grand Anne Bollinger. Did not rate or take good notes.

February 1, 2010 - NobleRottersSydney - Hunter Valley (Alio's, Surry Hills): [12%, cork] {Gordon} An aged nose, smelling of a boutique bakery. Toast, sourdough, roasted nuts. Super stuff. A dry, full-bodied palate doesn’t quite deliver the sophistication that was promised, however. Strongly yeast-influenced notes give a medium-long finish, but the bead is on the coarse side a bit, which seems to cost the wine some finesse. So, big and a bit brutal – and if the palate lacks the complexity of the nose, it tastes younger too, so perhaps a few more years’ aging wouldn’t go amiss.

September 20, 2009 - Tiny, tiny bubbles. Fruity and juicy. Smooth from start to finish. Saved us after a chardonnay experience.
