April 20, 2019 - Very interesting all around. Never would have thought that was from Napa. Medium garnet red. A bit herbal and minty on the nose as well as some underripe cherries and menthol. Medium bodied with medium tannins (5.5/10). A bit of a spicy bite in the palate with red berries and anise. A bit harsh too with the acidity. Medium length finish. Not sure on how long to keep this around.

April 20, 2019 - This has Northern Rhone characteristics (even though it is a cab!)

Steely and harsh anise and alcohol in the finish.

In the decanter after 4 hours, the harsh at least subsides in the finish.

The nose has some light cassis N2/5

    HL 3/5 FD 2/5 F3/5

November 27, 2015 - Big, bold, fruit-forward, cab that would be quite impressive for $20, but is ridiculously overpriced at $50. Berries, tart cassis, berry jam, sandalwood, vanilla, and some alcohol. Medium finish of woody, tart red fruit jam. Medium acid and mild, soft tannin.

October 4, 2015 - Good dark fruit with berry and currant

December 27, 2014 - Blueberries on the nose, bits of vanilla and a nice bit of tannin on the finish. Also some heat. A good $30 bottle of cab, oh wait...
