April 26, 2017 - Beautiful surprise - I was sure I will never drink again this wine. I liked it very much a year ago and this other "the very last" bottle is marvelous, too. The wine is beautifully aged, very soft and mellow, but still fresh, with lively acidity and suave fruit. Attractive tertiary notes of cooked black cherry and blackberry, touch of spice. Clean dry finish. If I had any more in my cellar I would slowly drink up.

February 17, 2016 - Sweet supertuscany nose with licorice and marzipan. Very calm and soft on the palate, opening with time and getting quite expressive. Lively. Lighter body, sleek, very easy drinking, fresh. Surprisingly good.

November 12, 2012 - lots of black ripe fruits, gentle and soft, easy to drink. Very "new world" in its approach. A bit disappointed... cause I don't feel any sense of place, cabernet s. and merlot (25% each) took over sangiovese, and the blend is not intriguing as expected.

June 24, 2012 - Dark and delicious Gorgeous fruit and spice nose Lots of fruit in mouth with modern grape notes nicely complementing the yummy rich Sangiovese base.

November 7, 2011 - This had a nose of earth and green pepper or olives with some dark fruit and spicy highlights. In the mouth this is very full with fine tannins and hefty acidity holding a smooth, chocolate like dark berry through a medium long profile. Pretty delicious wine.
