November 21, 2015 - A very eclectic blend of Cabernet, Sangiovese, Petit Syrah and Merlot which works very well. The Tokalon and Georges III Vineyard Cabernet shines through. Still remarkably youthful, ripe, black, red and blue fruit, which paired well with food. The palate is dry, but with good fruit and rich mouthfeel. Very well balanced, with medium (+) acidity, tannins and alcohol. The body, flavor intensity and length are all medium plus, albeit without the wine seeming heavy. This wine is holding up very well and will benefit from decanting. Drink now or in the next 2-3 years.

April 26, 2014 - Terrific new world Bordeaux blend with great acidity, dark fruits with blackberry notes. Must decant for at least an hour for the tannins to calm but once they do, the blend is wonderfully smooth and delicious.

September 3, 2012 - Drank it from a magnum. A delightful wine, it is difficult to peg as a having Super Tuscan roots. The Sangiovese, however, provides a welcome lift of acidity and red fruit (which might otherwise have come from blending with a more traditional Cabernet Franc). A very nice blend of black and red fruit, which paired well with food. The 14.3% alcohol was very well integrated and balanced by the medium plus acidity and medium plus tannins. The body, flavor intensity and length are all medium plus, albeit without the wine seemign heavy. Drink now or in the next 2-3 years.

November 19, 2011 - From Magnum showed less impressively than other bottles I've had recently. Solid fruit and earth on the palate, but the finish was a touch hot. Less restrained than other bottles.

November 18, 2011 - As with my other bottle, this is just a delightful wine - mildly oaky, beautiful deep color, wonderful taste and finish - almost tastes like a Juslyn cab

June 29, 2010 - This is a great cab/merlot/sangio/syrah blend drinking very nice right now. Beautiful garnet color and very nice finish - very little oak. We drank with some Italian which I thought was a nice pairing. Don't let my laconic write-up dissuade you - this is a great bottle.
