August 11, 2010 - The cork slid out very easily though it did not look compromised in any way. There was a note of oxidation over an otherwise pretty lime and mineral Sauv Blanc. The minerals were particularly strong on the nose with the fruit being strong still on the palate. I'm sure the oxidative note was related to the cork though I can't say if that is typical of these wines. I don't remember such an issue on my last bottle. Terrific example of Sancerre otherwise.

September 4, 2009 - For me this was a wonderful wine that was a joy to drink. The mouthfeel was great and I really enjoyed the chalky limestone finish. Drank it both a frig temp as well as closer to room temp and found it fun to drink alone when it was colder and pairing well with food as it warmed. Too bad we only had one bottle.

August 31, 2009 - Blossoming into a lovely wine, with sharply etched acid, grapefruit citrus notes, and loads of slate, crushed shell, and mineral. Very nice.

October 16, 2008 - very tasty. elegant mineral and soapstone on the nose... with a bit of dove. crisp and clean - really quite delicious. looking at the posted window I'm wondering where this is supposed to go from here.

as it's Fall, I'll save the other bottles at least until next year to see.....

June 7, 2008 - A Garagiste purchase. Not worth the money. (Sep 2009 -- starting to think this first bottle simply needed more time. The second was far better. See above)

May 1, 2008 - Bright, intense, golden robe. Complex mix of fruit (citrus and apricot) with a hint of vanilla and a whiff of burnt toast. Very close in style to a cote d'or wine but with the typical sancerre freshness and minerality.
