  February 5, 2016 - I let this one for a couple hours and drank over 2 days. Elyse makes good juice and this was a very reasonably priced wine - something we see infrequently anymore from California.

  July 15, 2012 - Opened and decanted for 2 hours before drinking. Dark fruit, spice/pepper, a bit of musty earth and alcohol on the nose. Sweet cherry and plum on the front palate, long finish with medium tannins and pepper spice at the back. Would not agree that this is past prime as it drank quite well tonight. I would drink within a year though. Paired with steaks off the grill.

  August 2, 2011 - Impressive nose but the fruit disappoints a bit. Probably should have consumed this a couple years ago.

  December 22, 2009 - Dark purple in color, somewhat restrained nose. Taste is all raspberries with perhaps a slight overpowering of oak influence. Definitely agree that there is some eucalyptus here as well as faint cranberry. Bright, acidic. Pleasant but a little lacking in body and depth.
