June 29, 2010 - Okay wine - more of a "sipper" than a food friendly wine.

May 10, 2010 - Nice, simple SB - went well with the salmon we had with it

April 12, 2009 - Popped and poured for Easter guests, who enjoy white wine. Nose of citrus, mostly lemon w/some grassy undertones. Drank out of Oregon Rideil pinot glasses which really helped in this wine opening up quickly. A well made, almost classic saiuvignon blanc, w/snappy acidity and textured mouth feel. Very good.

April 9, 2009 - Had several glasses at The Fish Market with halibut. It has very nice aromas (more than most), a crisp flavor that tingles, and that great Semillon lingering finish and aftertaste. I seem to keep coming back to it. Must buy a bottle as a high end sample.

April 2, 2009 - NSMFOW April '09--Promising CA Wineries (The Grapevine, Salem, MA): Light yellow color. Nose of apple, grass, straw. Palate of sweet apple, some grapefruit with similar grassiness. Not as crisp or minerally as I want in a SB. There are so many other SB I'd reach to before this in this price range.

February 5, 2009 - Started out well, with nice honey, ripe melon, and soft acidity, but it didn't hold further down the bottle. It's fine, definitely a safe drink, but more can be done for the price.

December 25, 2008 - Nice acidity with a clean, medium mouthfeel. Some citrus in the nose and the undertone of taste.

December 5, 2008 - This was just a mediocre bottle. None of the pizazz of a NZ with all that Granny Smith and sharp tartness and certainly non of the smooth sophistication of the better CA SB.

November 6, 2008 - Nice pleasant quaffing SB. Not as crisp as the NZ and not nearly as sophisticated as the more pricey California. For $16.50/bottle can drink it everyday.
