February 9, 2011 - This wine is a past its peak. Better a couple years ago when it had some outrageous wood and more acid. It's not bad now, with ripe blackberry jam and lots of concentration, but now it's a bit too sweet and the distinct characteristics have faded.
January 18, 2010 - Good color and clarity. Body was medium to light. Nice Zin! Still has a nice oaky finish that keeps bringing me back. I should has purchase a case!
October 31, 2009 - Still good, but glad I drank this one - peaked.
October 10, 2009 - Still a great wine. Flavors are less intense than a year ago but it is still very flavorful. Medium body, nice red color. I wish I had more.
June 21, 2009 - Had at restaurant. Very fruity on the sweet side, but very nice. Others thought too fruity and sweet. For me it worked.
December 21, 2008 - Nose has nice ripe fruit, mild oak and hazelnut.
On the tongue there's raspberry, cherry, and oak, with mild spice. It's thinner than I would expect and has a disappointing finish.
Decent every day Zin, but not at the price. Poor QPR, and my score would be lower if I fully factored that.
Was a gift, and I would not purchase this specific year myself at the current price ($21).
Had alone and with crackers and hard cheeses.
November 15, 2008 - Another impressive effort from Runquist, this offers lots of plum, blackcurrant, violet, vanilla, and blueberry notes that match nicely to its soft, creamy palate. Medium to full bodied without much acid or tannin, this is a Zin that will drink best in its youth.

November 2, 2008 - Dank both on Halloween with friends. Both drank well in my book. Still able to hold up another year or so.
October 27, 2008 - Drank at katie's renunion party. It was excellent, drinking at it's peak!
