May 31, 2023 - My last bottle of 24. This wine is still drinking well. The fruit has faded but lots of secondary flavors and a pleasant acidity remain. Drink
March 1, 2022 - Wow, what a brilliant wine after 20 years. Red cherry, black cherry, and blackberry fruit. Wonderful core with notes of leather, tobacco, cigar box, dusty earth, spice, cocoa, and cedar. Great balance and structure still after all these years. Nice acidity, soft tannins and wonderful long finish. This is great right now but as is typical of all Forman wines, this will be good for years to come.
August 22, 2021 - This was drinking fantastically. Tasted at least 10 years younger than it was. Still vibrant fruit and a solid backbone, tannin still present. Could go another 5-7 years.
January 10, 2021 - Lovely mature cab drinking just beautifully. Dragged this to Florida for January and PNP with broiled lamb chops and the wine was soft and well fruited but not tired or fading...really delish and tasted another glass the next night after a dinner of grilled grouper and the wine was just lovely...$65..those were the days although even now not much more than $100 vs all the other Napa ego projects
August 29, 2020 - some funk on opening but this cleared. enjoyable
June 28, 2020 - In vertical. Dense in a Bordeaux style with an elegant character, very good length and hinting at a finessed finish. Upside from here.
April 18, 2020 - Decanted for about 30 minutes. Drinking beautifully. Initially aroma and flavors of cherry, wood and leather. After another hour, green and peppery notes take over.

September 8, 2019 - Deep, dark reddish-purple garnet in color with ever-so-slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with classic cigar box overtones of cedar & tobacco, leather, earthy/dusty, some herbal notes of juniper & mint, coffee/cocoa, minerals, some spices & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & silky smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but even at 17 years of age, it should hold at its present plateau of development for several years longer if cellared properly. A beautiful, smooth & elegant Napa Cabernet.
July 23, 2019 - Mature cab drinking well but maybe fading a little. Deliocious with grilled tenderloin. Drink up
