July 8, 2012 - Wow! For the price I originally paid for this wine which has now been in my cellar for going on 7 years this wine was superb! Had it with steaks on the grill - ran it through the aerator into a carafe and poured it straightaway. Lots of fruit left and lots of flavor. Not much if any oak at all but still some tannins present on the finish. Like a nice Beaujolais or Cotes' de Rhone but even better.

March 20, 2011 - This a good, straight-forward daily drinker. While it's not very complex at all, it's a nice wine with a good taste when I decanted it, very mellow, still enough fruit to make it a nice wine to drink with a simple dinner we had it with Chicken Kiev. The wine starts out with palette of sour fruit (grape & tart cherries) then mellows to a nice "friendly" even slightly chewy wine. Great buy, nice wine.
