August 21, 2022 - Still
November 30, 2017 - Fine bottle, holding well. Enjoyed at a dinner with friends and a lamb roast and an additional two bottles of Cos d'Estournel, 1975 and 1982. The Jordan was decanted for 30 minutes. Refined and elegant, the tannins well-integrated. Subtle cherry and red fruit. Nose a little more suppressed than expected.
April 13, 2017 - From a magnum and in the pristine condition. 1982 in the north coast was a relatively cooler year. Red cherry, medicinal and herbal, full of tertiary character, a bit mushroom-y, resolved tannin. This is at its peak drinking plateau and likely will stay there for a long while.
September 14, 2013 - tasted blind. nose - musk, orange peel, smoky.
mouth - light cherry, orange peel, per victor 'underfruited'. i found it elegant, mature, and clean.
February 18, 2013 - Mint nose, cran palate, med finish. A+
December 31, 2012 - Tasted completely different then the last bottle. Decanted for an hour, this bottle was past its prime.
December 25, 2012 - - Brick color - A very rough start but after an hour in the decanter it opened up. We drank it alongside a 1.5l and it tasted completely different. The cork was very brittle and broke. Drink now.
December 25, 2012 - - Brick color with a medium finish - Tasted along side a 750, this was so smooth and a great wine.
October 28, 2012 - oxidized
August 10, 2012 - Finish fading somewhat but still very nice. Some pepper, slight chocolate, had that Jordan aroma.
