December 5, 2023 - 7th and 8th of 12, opened an hour, perfect corks and levels, attractive and nuanced for what it is and as October's bottles, little upside but no rush. VG+ (16.5).

July 23, 2023 - Tempier…’nuff said! Tannins well integrated but though it could last much longer, now is a good time to drink it. No decanter in our rental location (two miles from Bandol) but I enjoyed the evolution in the glass. These are wines to drink with food.

April 4, 2023 - A really enjoyable bottle. Very similar to my notes from 2018. Awesome funky nose. Bought four for $19 on sale at Binny's years ago, but should have grabbed a few more. Glad to have two left.

February 11, 2023 - red cherry and strawberry dominate, the tannins are fully resolved but it doesnt show overwhelming bottle development, just a purity of fresh red fruit perhaps showing more of its grenache character at present. i'd say its young but pleasurable but has another decade for sure

October 20, 2022 - In a perfect, perfect, perfect place. Beautiful - transports you to Provence. Charming, nuanced, beguiling. Fragrant and harmonious. That special hint of sweetness at the very end. I have one left and I won’t wait. Timing is everything!

September 2009 (link)(Domaine Tempier Bandol) Slighty hazy and a moderately saturated ruby-red, this wine offers aromas of black cherry, raspberry, mulberry, roses, and black and green peppercorns. it is moderately full-bodied, with pithy fruit tannins, dark fruit, and peppery spice. Although past releases have really shown their Mourvèdre meatiness, this version only hints at that, softened by layers of compote and black pepper. Despite its slight grip and spiciness, it’s one of the more elegant bottlings I have tasted from Tempier. Provence: Heaven for the Senses
