June 13, 2021 - Sweet fruit with good concentration and focus, and overal wine structure. Full body. Still noticeable tannin. Medium long length and pleasant finish.

September 4, 2020 - Well-rounded wine. Good acidity with flavours of tobacco and cherry. Could have another 5-6 years of life in it but definitely not too young. Not much tannins left. Bought direct from the producer in 2008 and very happy with the purchase.

October 3, 2018 - Simple, tough, and unfriendly. Zero pleasure in this. Easily has 10-15 yrs left but not sure there is any quality or complex material here to make it worth it.

August 27, 2018 - Dark fruit with dry hay and earth, very tannic a dry finish. Food wine all the way. Big on the palate with long and dry finish.

December 2, 2016 - Ate at Saluga with family. Very dry with subtle dark fruit. Much more subdued than the previous bottle some 5 years ago or so which was more in your face and zinfandel/petit syrah like. Tonight there were mixed reviews with some liking it a lot and others not so much.
