September 19, 2010 - A nice blend of 75% Garnacha, 25% Tempranillo. Purple to burgundy in color, no sign of aging. Black ftuit and rhubarb on the nose. Black fruit and liquorice on the palate. Medium to full bodied. Fruit forward, with medium acidity and medium plus tannins. Alcohol is 14% but not particularly noticeable thanks to a little bit of bottle age. Simple and somewhat one-dimensional, but a great value nonetheless. All in all, I like the Tres Picos better.

February 27, 2010 - Minneapolis Wine Club Spanish Reds (Anna's House): Medium purple. Nose floral, spice and raspberry. Taste very spicy with floral, cherry and raspberry. Solid medium finish. A super deal for $4.50.

January 25, 2010 - This is cheap wine and it is ok. It stayed down. Really no point in analyzing.

December 5, 2009 - Big wine solid fruit, a lot for the price but oo inky and harsh for my taste. I can see how many will dig this, but not me

November 14, 2009 - Wild berry nose with notes of leather and red licorice, and blueberry/floral notes on the palate/finish. Easy drinking with moderate acidity and low tannins.

October 5, 2009 - Simple, fruit forward wine. Quite smooth on the palate, very fruity and quite enjoyable, except a little heat that shows on both the nose and the palate. 85-86

September 27, 2009 - Second bottle; had first one in May. This was still very easy to drink, a smooth red by itself with a nice, tangy finish. Great value wine. Drank over a couple nights and it held up.
