February 17, 2019 - My last of 6 bottles, and was worried this would be past its prime. I think this is still drinking great, if not better than in its youth. Honey, pears and some rocks. Acidity is not lacking at all (as I thought it was when younger). Much more subtle as well although the fruit is still strong. Long finish. A very pleasant surprise

Insgesamt sehr fein. Ist jetzt auf dem Zenit.

October 23, 2015 - This wine continues to impress me. Beautiful golden color. The nose is just fantastic! Coconut oil dominates the aromas. Velvety and great body. The finish lasts for years!

April 15, 2013 - Very enjoyable as usual. Typical petrol, oak and mineral notes with a nice palate. My last '05.

December 23, 2012 - Quite deep lemony color. Oak dominates the nose with creamy notes, vanilla powder, wood and tropical fruit. There was also a slight varnish aroma. Still very youthfull. Full bodied with medium acidity, creamy mouthfeel and clean aftertaste. Heavily oaked with use of new oak but if you like the style it was good. More like a California Chardonnay.

August 22, 2012 - Argh. Previous bottles were lovely, but I smelled the TCA on the cork and the wine was mediocre. :-(

January 24, 2012 - Popped and poured this one. Definitely opened up quite a bit in glass over the next hour. Really interesting to see this wine develop over time.

July 25, 2011 - Needed 1 hour of decanting. Similar notes to previous bottles. Such a cool wine.

May 2, 2011 - Much better than the previous bottle. Much more nutty (almonds?) on the nose, and butter is definitely present. This one was closer to a California style than a Burgundy. Still one of my favorite white's from my favorite producer..
