  November 10, 2010 - Black glass society : fresh and Alive! (Paul's place and jumbo): Disappointing bottle with oxidative reductiveness. Lots of ripe yellow fruits buttery oak. Didn't age well. But some wet mushroomyness like cream of mushroom campbells.

  October 30, 2010 - Black Glass Society: Chapitre du Fresh and Alive (aka Oyster, Seafood and Karaoke) (Pine Close, followed by Jumbo Seafood): I thought this was a new world Chard, but would not have guessed Western Australia - it seemed a little warmer than that. Nose showed earth, mushrooms, plenty of butter and a touch of dried fruit. A bit more age than one would expect from a 2005. Palate had just that bit of oxidation on it that probably explains the mature bouquet. Rich creamy texture, heavy, with lowish acidity, yet with a really dry backbone. Flavour-wise, I got lemons, ripe yellow fruit and plenty of toast and spice notes in the decently long finish. Okay, but I am not altogether thrilled by this - slightly off bottle maybe.
